Today two members of my group and I went to film some material for our trailer. We travelled to Wapping, as the scenery is perfect for our trailer. Wapping is an old area in London, that has not yet been fully renovated and modernised. This enables us to capture the essence of the 1960's.
It took us about 45 minutes to get to Wapping and we took the underground. We were able to start filming straight away. We filmed in a tunnel walkway, that was illuminated with little lamps. This gave an eery feeling to our footage. The shot was a tight frame of me walking through the tunnel. It was a behind shot of the back of me and was a low angle shot. I was holding a wire cable (the weapon) in my gloved hand and the camera was focused on my feet.
We then moved the scene to the docking area. We were able to film on the walkway but not in the actual docks as it is private property. From the docking area, we were able to film the docking bridge, as well as underneath the bridge. From where we were positioned we filmed a wide shot of the landscape, which included the view of tower bridge.
